#Coverstar Arina Feeney:My main advantage is my attitude!
"Sending love from sunny South Florida! Russian originally, I now call Boca Raton my home, which I share with my husband, my two beautiful daughters, and my two amazing step kids! I have always been very entrepreneurial, creative and curious. I get to travel often for modeling and also because I cannot imagine my life without new and beautiful experiences. My true passion though is skincare and I am currently in the process of launching a breakthrough new skincare line which I cannot wait to share with you guys! I love experiencing life through my girls' eyes! They make every day and every achievement so much more fulfilling, special and just plain fun! Now is an amazing time to be a woman! So many opportunities are opening up for us in every field, taboos are falling like leaves, entrenched biases are being challenged, and as women, we are finally beginning to truly support one another! My goal in life is to be a good role model for my kids while enjoying life to the fullest!" - said our coverstar Arina Feeney.

How old were you when you made the decision to choose modeling and beauty industry as your occupation?
My involvement in modeling and in the beauty industry happened quite organically rather than as a consequence of any particular decision. I have loved all things beautiful since I was a young girl and was naturally drawn to this profession through my teenage years. It just happened.
Whether you find it difficult to balance between your professional and family responsibilities?
Family is everything to me and always comes first but my professional responsibilities are also very important and I give one hundred percent to every professional endeavor I undertake, whether that be modeling a new look for an exciting international brand or launching a new skincare line in my beauty business.
Describe life in Florida
Life in Miami is always exciting and colorful. The 300 days of sunshine a year brings out the fun in everyone and that is always on display in how people dress and socialize. It’s all very splashy, vibrant and very avant-garde.
For you personally, what is the most exciting thing about this business+ fashion and skincare?
The most exciting thing about this business is the amazing people that I meet. By nature people in this line of business tend to be creative and innovative and always very curious. I think it’s important to be in a business where people genuinely care about who you are and what your vision is and are excited to share your journey.
What do you consider to be your main advantage?
My main advantage is my attitude. I love what I do and I am very grateful for the opportunities that have come my way and I think that shows in my work.
As one of the most desirable women in the fashion world how do you define beauty?
Beauty is a personal choice, not a look or a size or a particular shape. If you choose to be beautiful then you are beautiful.
Are you afraid of aging?
I am a mother. What scares me is not being around for my children. I think that’s the opposite of being being scared about aging, I’m scared of not aging! Having said that I do think that you can always strive be the very best version of yourself whether you’re 26 or 96. The world of beauty is really very simple. It’s a world created for you, designed for you and devoted to you. Use it and you will always be the best version of yourself.
How do you work on yourself?
Look, I just want to put this out there. It’s not just OK to work on yourself, it’s necessary. It should be fun and it should be something that comes naturally to us. That takes self respect and a commitment to make room for ourselves in our all too hectic over burdened lives. The “I don’t have time” apology is a disservice to ourselves and to the people we love. For me mental health is the most important form of taking care of myself, spirituality, meditation, yoga and connection with nature. Exercise? Nah, running around after a two year old, that’s enough exercise for me - that and sleep. Yes, sleep, please! So, once you’ve got that nailed down then you can start thinking about diet and skincare and not having that second glass of wine.
Which male traits do you value the most?
The male traits that I value the most are kindness, empathy and loyalty. I don’t have a laundry list of male qualities that makes a man attractive to me. He can be everything to everyone else but if he doesn’t have those three qualities he will never be anything to me.
